26 degrees this morning when we got up, frost on the ground and a beautiful deep blue sky.

Monolo's first Hog

About a week ago I was hunting and a large wild hog walked right across the field I was in about 60 yards away. I didn't shoot it because I didn't know of any processing plants that processed hogs. The next day I located one and told Monolo(my brother-in-law) about it. He had never shot a hog so I let him have my spot last Friday night and I took a new location. Well, that hog came out of the same location that I had seen him come out of. Monolo shot him and we took it for processing. It weighed in at 180 lbs.

Dad's first Buck

Went hunting with Monolo last Thursday and got my first buck of the season. A seven pointer weighing in at 118 pounds.
