Last week Priscilla and I went down to Titusville, Florida to visit my Aunt Wally and Uncle Carl and family. Whiile there we visited Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge(you'll see many of the birds there and alligators) and the Canaveral National Seashore. In the slide show you will see both of them plus Launch Pad 39 where they launch the space shuttle, Aunt Wally and Uncle Carl and Pam Collver and husband Charles (my cousin and Aunt Wally's oldest of 5 daughters). We had a great time and really enjoyed our visit and hope to see Pam and Charlie in Greenwood, SC soon. Pam shared many of her families photos and we really didn't want to leave when we did! During the video also you'll see a boat docking on on the side of a canal and the next photo is open water where we just saw a Manatee. You'll also see us feeding fish(Catfish and Crappee the pond behind Aunt Wally's.
Well, we finally received some snow here. It just started this afternoon blowing in from Atlanta. It looks like its going to stick. Its 5pm and the temperature is dropping.
My Brother-in-law and I went out last week to Lake Greenwood to test the boat prior to going fishing last Saturday and he snapped this photo.

We hope that everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. We really enjoyed ourselves visiting with our children, grandchildren and friends in California and along the way traveling to California in our travel trailer. We had a great trip.
One of the things we learned though was that the travel trailer was really too small for us. It had geat sleeping arrangements but the bathroom and dining areas were really crowded, especially on long trips. We consided upgrading to a larger travel trailer but Priscilla really didn't like towing a large camper...it made her really nervous and we both felt that a class A motorhome would work better. We were fortunate and found a great deal on a used 2005 Fleetwood Fiesta 32S(33 ft) with only 3,000 miles on it. Here are some photos of it. We are going on our first camping trip to Aiken, SC this weekend. Even Calvin likes it.
