On the way to San Jose, oops, I mean Greenwood, SC

Well, today we left California on our way to Greenwood, South Carolina. This morning the movers came and loaded the moving van with all the stuff we're taking. Melanie, our youngest daughter came over and helped us clean house. We departed after a dear farewell to Melanie and drove up the 215 to Rt 40 in Barstow and then continued on to Kingman, Arizona where we're spending the night. Calvin, our 15 year old dachsund, slept almost the whole way. We ordered take out dinners at JBs restaurant here in Kingman. I had pot roast, mashed potatoes, vegetables, a nice salad with blue cheese dressing and Priscy had chicken fried steak, rice pilaf, vegetables. Calvin had chicken and rice. We're all full!!! Calvin's in the process of having a sniff test of our room.
